![]() ![]() ![]() As I noted to Racerbob, I've been using MBAM Pro/Premium for many years but had no idea that MBAM had added antivirus code-it's been a long time since I been to MBAM's website. Thanks to Racerbob's info, I have updated my post. The key is that there are things that MBAM may not flag but an antivirus will flag and vice versa which is why I run both MBAM and a custom installed antivirus with only selective a/v shields installed. The distinction between a virus and malware has become more porous over the years as they each have begun to meld into each other and so antivirus software may also have antimalware aspects and antimalware software may have antiviral aspects. ![]() There is a difference between a virus and malware-although, obviously, they both can totally screw up a system-in that they are each looking for/at different things. >I really like the program more than any other antivirus
